Stupid oversight, simple solution

Many new computers are shipping with keyboards that, for some bizarre and inexplicable reason, don't include a CAPS lock light.

My new Dell keyboard is one such device.

It has been suggested that full capitalization is an obsolete concept and therefore can be safely disabled without any impact.

Yeah sure, try that and see how long you last. Scroll lock on the other hand...even I've never used that one.

The solution is a simple FREE program called Tray Status from Binary Fortress.

It will sit in your system tray or notification area, as shown above, and indicate the status of your CAPS LOCK, Num-Lock, Scroll-lock keys and display hard disk activity.

You can customize what it displays.

Binary Fortress have other software available too. Some FREE, some not, some half and half. Enjoy!
