Double-click BONUS!

I don't know if I've tried this before and forgotten it or just never known it at all, but a few days ago I used the CTRL (Control) key to make multiple selections of words inside an email using the double-click.

I suspect that my brain had decided that the "double-click" and the "Control" use were mutually exclusive. I am not sure why.

Of course, thinking about it for a fraction of a second it suddenly seemed logical and obvious to me. Weird.


The success or otherwise of this strategy does depend on your email client and/or the word processing software (or any other text editor) you are using at the time.




Every now and then I'm surprised by the things that surprise me.
